ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting of mine was an inspiration after a lovely dinner my family and I had filled with spaghetti and vino. Being an Italian I am always attracted to rich vibrant full palettes of color and there is nothing more inspiring to me than a rich full bodied glass of vino. This painting was painted with great ease as the colors just blended together like butter on bread. I thought of keeping this painting for myself because it fits the colors in my house but I felt the need to share it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and if you love it enough to own it that you will look at it while enjoying many glasses of vino. The sides of the painting are painted black and it's wired on the back so it's ready to hang. There are three coats of varnish on it to keep it from fading.

My name is Kelly Harmsen and I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. 13 years ago my husband and I moved to Bradenton, Florida to get away of the cold weather.I am the daughter of a Greek Mother and an Italian Father. I guess you could say I have my hand in a lot of different pots lol. Taking a blank canvas and putting my feelings onto it is one of the best feelings in the world. I create one of a kind abstract acrylic paintings. No two of my paintings are alike. I seem to go through phases with my art and once that phase is gone I can't create it again. It's so cool to see my creations develop totally on an organic feeling I might be having when I'm painting that day.
