I've always been amazed by crows' intelligence and resourcefulness. I feed them in my backyard daily. They seem so appreciative! Last winter during a heavy snowfall, I spotted this chilly couple in a nearby tree near sunset. I was touched by their tenderness and love. I just had to paint them. ARTIST'S STATEMENT: My creations are preposterous attempts to define and celebrate our transcendent connections to the Earth, Sea, and Sky. My subjects are taken from my broad range of interests in science, the amazing mysteries of creation and rebirth, and occasionally, just for fun.
