"Exile" is the first picture of the series “Farewell to pioneers” -- Farewell to pioneers There will come a time when a magnificent view of unimaginable landscapes will greet human eyes. Bright, brave, advanced pioneers, who will be accustomed to such a level of technology, which could appear as a miracle to us, flustered, with bated breath, they will witness the glorious creations of nature for the first time, a new, unimaginable, distant nature. This nature will be unimaginable to those of us living today. Driven by great force of their science, backed by ancient wisdom of civilization, they, the pioneers of deep space, with eyes wide open, will look at the majestic outlines so gracefully created by our universe. In their advanced suits, they gaze upon the intangible beauty of new worlds they discover. Touching with every nerve the beauty of a virgin world, they are likely to feel indescribably wonderful, and certainly lonely. Within the incomprehensible glory and beauty of new frontiers, they will be first and only humans standing on the edge of humankind’s knowledge. In front of them, alongside with all the wonders, they will encounter deep dark abyss of unknown. Brave enough to take the next step, a landmark step, they may fear what lies beyond in the darkness. However, their fear will subside with renewed confidence in their mission. The fear of the unknown will not abate the sense of duty and courage within their hearts. No matter how naive it may appear the attempt to foreshadow those landscapes of the distant future, and how overwhelmingly huge are the odds that this message be eroded with time, unable to power-through years to come between present and the day when those pioneers will be born. Despite that the author of this impudent message will seem no more than a child wondering in dark, brutal, simple-minded, distant twenty first century. Still, with every single bit of my being, in a doomed attempt to break through the darkness of the time, with a smile on my face and hope in my mind, I appeal to you, bright and beautiful explorers of the distant future. May your hearts be full of light, resoluteness, goodness, peace and an endless but wise desire of knowledge. Do not let the unknown be source of fear, but rather a spring of inspiration. All of us, in one way or another, willingly or not, have put our lives in order to get to that point, which you have already reached. In order to let you make the next step. Be brave! Умные, развитые, смелые первооткрыватели, привыкшие к технологиям которые нам показались бы чудом, оторопев, затаив дыхание, впервые собственными глазами будут смотреть на новые изваяния природы, новой, невообразимой, далекой природы. Природы, находящейся за гранью всего что мы можем увидеть сегодня. Природы находящейся бесконечно за гранью того, что мы можем сегодня представить. Великие в мощи своей науки, подкрепленные древней мудростью цивилизации, они, пионеры далекого космоса, с разинутыми ртами, с широко открытыми глазами, замерев, как дети, может даже со слезами будут смотреть на величественные очертания которые так грациозно сотворила наша вселенная. Словно голые, каждым нервом прикасаясь к неосязаемой красоте открытых миров, они, возможно, будут чувствовать себя неописуемо прекрасно, и, быть может, немножко одиноко. Ведь во всем этом непостижимом великолепии, они будут первыми, и перед ними, какими бы продвинутыми они не оказались, раскинется так много нового и неизведанного. И таким важным представиться тот шаг, который они будут обязаны совершить следующим, что неволей в их сердца может заглянуть, пускай даже прозрачнейшая, тень страха. Страха перед самым желанным, что есть для пытливого интеллекта. Тень страха перед неизвестностью. Какой бы жалкой не оказалась попытка предвкусить те пейзажи, которые суждено увидеть этим людям, этим титанам. Какой бы подавляюще огромной не была вероятность того, что это обращение угаснет не то что бы в веках, но скорее всего даже днях нашей современности. И каким бы слабым еще не был интеллект того, кто осмелился на такое дерзкое подбадривание. Все же всем своим существом, в обреченной попытки пробить мрак веков, я с улыбкой обращаюсь к вам, светлые и прекрасные первооткрыватели далекого будущего: пускай ваши сердца будут наполнены добром, решительностью, теплом и бесконечным стремлением к новому. Пускай неизвестность вас не пугает, но лишь вдохновляет и будоражит. Все мы, так или иначе, осознано или нет, с желанием или без, положили свои жизни для того, чтобы вы оказались там, куда уже добрались.
