ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Nature is beautiful in its appearance at any time of the day or night. But sunsets and sunrises are the most beautiful in the sea. This picture is painted from memory after my vacation on the island of Cyprus. These were unforgettable evenings. We had dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea and watched the sun slowly and beautifully go down over the horizon.

I am a self-taught artist. The start of my career began in 2014. I was originally a bank employee, before changing my profession. I worked 12 hours a day, when all day there are huge numbers and a large flow of clients. My soul wanted to find salvation in some occupation besides everyday work. I quit my bank job and started sculpting cold porcelain hair jewelry in 2014. In the process of work, I used oil paints to obtain shades and the process of mixing paints was very fascinating. For the first time I picked up brushes and paints and my first painting "The Sea" appeared. After 3 years, inspired by watercolor painting, I actively took up training and began to search for my own style. I started to study watercolor painting using techniques and methods with new material. The new material was also taught independently with the help of video courses, meetings with the master at master classes (Ilya Ibryaev). Since 2016, I began exhibition activities. Participated in 10 exhibitions (Russian and international). I continued to study the master classes of famous artists, self-study and practice gained knowledge (Elena Bazanova, Maria Pavlova, Konstantin Kuzema). In 2018, with the support of the Union of Artists of the Moscow Region, I organized the first personal watercolor exhibition. In 2019 I took part in the Russian Art Week, where I won 1st and 3rd places with watercolor paintings. Also this year by the international jury of the International Watecolor Society my work was selected for participation in the exhibition and represented Russia in Finland. In the same year I was admitted to the Union of Watercolors of Russia. The main purpose to my work is the idea of reflecting meaning and reality transferred through my inner perception. I study simple objects and phenomena with the help of artistic materials, inviting the viewer to consider the smallest details, which often appear by chance, thanks to all the fluidity of the paint, or, on the contrary, dissolve in airiness and overflows, feeling the imagery and atmosphere. To show life, the breath of nature and its fleetingness, to convey to the public my story is the main goal of my work! Thanks to painting, I found inner harmony and happiness. And I am ready to share this beauty and happiness with the outside world.
