Though unable to pursue art professionally at the time due to logistical and cultural barriers, Elena continued to draw and paint in her spare moments. After earning a degree in Economics, life took a transformative turn in 2016 when Elena, her husband, and their son moved to the United States. Approaching her 30s, she began to reevaluate her life and aspirations. This introspective period ignited a newfound conviction that art could indeed be a profession, not just a hobby. Embracing this realization, she immersed herself in learning, taking numerous courses and honing her skills through the teachings of accomplished artists. Today, she works as a professional artist in her home studio in Lincoln, California, continually seeking knowledge and inspiration from fellow artists while also experimenting with her own unique style. Elena’s work reflects her journey, blending her rich cultural background with a modern artistic sensibility. She is dedicated to creating pieces that resonate emotionally with viewers, inviting them into her world of color, texture, and expression.
