About The Artwork
This pastel on paper work represents the ancient and historic Romanesque bridge spanning the Fluvia river with the town of Besalu beyond. The bridge consists of seven uneven arcs and two towers. While travelling between the high Garrotxa and the volcano zone to the south, we recorded many similar scenes of villages in the heart of ancient Catalunya.
