School Chair and Cockatoo Wallpaper in Mint Green and Pink Painting

This small painting features a red legged plywood school chair in the style that appears to have disappeared almost entirely from classrooms. The chair stands upon a deep (and bright) fuschia, gold and teal oriental rug. A delft blue and white pot stands alongside the chair with a bright green plant growing out of it. The background is wallpapered in a pale mint with bright yellow and white cockatoos against forest green leaves. The composition is simple and playful and painterly and the piece adds a lovely pop of color to any space it inhabits. It is painted on cradled, gesso'd board and is ready to hang as is or frame.
