Maltsev Peter Tarasovich (1907 – 1993) famous Soviet artist. He had the highest title of artist in the USSR. People's artist of the USSR. From 1924 to 1930 he studied at the Higher Institute of art and technology (vkhutein) at P. V. Kuznetsov, V. N. Favorsky, L. A. Bruni. M. Chernysheva. Leading artist of the Studio of battle artists named after M. Grekov. Author of several famous dioramas and many paintings. Works are stored in the leading museums of the USSR.
