About The Artwork

I have always been fascinated by the pattern of waves as they role onto the shore. In this work I have attempted to capture the patterns in three dimensions, some thing I have never before seen done in a painting. I also wanted to capture the strength and power of the cresting wave. Putting the painting flat at eye level one could feel like they are truly standing on the beach, looking out at the ocean. The painting is wired ready for hanging.
