It is my third work in a series of paintings in which animals become interpreters, symbols and metaphors to convey messages that are an intimate expression of my being, of my soul... the painting is spontaneous, immediate but not random as the colors are intense as the brushstrokes ..... The painting is made on fine-grained cotton canvas (Pieraccini Gallery) on a 60x70 frame mounted on the back with a 1.5 thick edge, making the use of a frame superfluous, with acrylic colors

Bio and Statement Born in Cagliari, where she still lives and has her art studio. Even as a child she loved drawing and painting, passions that are always alive and that allow her to express her inner world. After studying science and graduating in law, she devoted herself to a career as a lawyer, maintaining a space for her artistic activity, which became increasingly important from 2012 onwards, so much so that in just a few years it became her chosen profession. Her first exhibition at Palazzo Regio in Cagliari was followed by numerous participations in exhibitions, including in 2017 at the MAAGMA Museum in Sardinia, in 2019 at the collective exhibition "Rinascimento Italiano" organised by the Fondazione Mazzoleni in Alzano Lombardo, Bergamo, in 2022 at the collective exhibition dedicated to pop art at the Ravenna Art Gallery, at the 6th edition of the contemporary art exhibition "Le quai des artistes" Porto Rotondo, of which she was the winner, and always in the same year her personal exhibition Onde Emotive, in Rome, at the gallery in via Margutta Area Contesa Arte. Her works are currently on permanent display at the Tender Art Gallery in Porto Rotondo. In 2023, she joined the professional arts association and experimental centre Castia Arts. Enrica Badas loves experimenting with different techniques and languages, with the ability to fuse their expressive elements in an original way. In the first period, she works in oil and acrylic on canvas, sometimes also in Indian ink and pastel, with a figurative style dedicated to the study of the nude, the animal world and the search for symbolic elements to represent her reflections on the complexity of existence. At the same time, he writes poems in free verse, which sometimes run through his paintings, enriching shapes and colours with new meanings, in the sign of a "poetic neo-expressionism". Since 2020, the artist has been experimenting with digital art, which becomes a medium to enrich his creative journey. Thus, photographic portraits of women taken in everyday life or while travelling are transformed through digital interventions into different images, which are then printed on canvas, aluminium or other media; the images finally acquire a new face and a new meaning through various pictorial interventions.
