ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I am surrounded by water in SW Florida. I am inspired by the calming surrounding sound and picturesque panoramic views of the place I call home. It (the water) is most certainly a place in which I can meditate and get focus. This is what I hope each and every viewer will conclude when they see this piece. It can be a focal point to take a moment to breathe during the day. I am fond of acrylic paints and various mediums. However, this piece needed nothing more than the three blended colors used to bring clarity and focus while making it.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
