Art Description

Painting: Oil, Pencil, Paper, Black & White, Color on Paper.

The idea of this series originated in the subway. Looking at people, I saw their hesitation, self-immersion, waiting for their stop. Each person is like a mirror of another.
At the exhibition, when showing a series of works "Mirrors", one young man admitted that he was afraid to look at these works, as well as afraid to look at himself in the mirror. If he wanted to look at a series of "Mirrors" again, I invited him to look at the work of a ride on the exhibition on the bike. This changed his perception and he accepted them and himself without fear.
Graphic sheet created on paper, creates the smoothest surface and brings it closer to the mirrors.

A series of "mirrors" was shown at the exhibition "Scenography", St. Petersburg, workshop Alta Lingva (2013).
Some of the works from the series "mirrors", was shown at the exhibition,"Stille Wahrnehmung" at the Museum KiT Dusseldorf, Germany, where they were awarded the Museum, the purchase of collectors from Dusseldorf and the prize (Baker Tilly
Roelfs Scholarship Düsseldorf, 2013).
