At the beginning of 2012, Jeni returned to Australia after a four year sejour in France where she painted prolifically and exhibited in both solo and group shows. She received the Peoples' Choice award at Spiral Gallery, Bega, for International Women’s Day 2012. Her solo exhibition of oils on canvas, 'Heartstrings' in Canberra was followed by two photographic books 'Self and other Beings' and 'Under my fingernails - like a well-dug garden' In 2014 Jeni completed a narrative non-fiction manuscript set in France and Australia and is currently seeking a publisher. She is represented by Aarwun galleries in Canberra.
