ABOUT THE ARTWORK

My signature golden heart rests on the underside on the right side of the canvas as a talisman of the most powerful force, LOVE. It is part of my Stasis painting series and pairs well with Rest and Nourish. In my “Stasis” painting series, I translate memory into hard-edged paintings with dramatic curves and angles. These simple yet complex Minimalism works offer a pathway into my experiences — layers of recollection elegantly embodied through curvilinear sculptures that celebrate form through their refinement and sophisticated use of color. Each has my signature golden heart on the bottom side of the canvas as a talisman of hope. This painting has been varnished with a smooth matte finish, perfect for a contemporary look and protection from UV rays and dust.
