Shrinathji painting- Nathdwara style pichwai painting Just before the onset of pandemic l was fortunate to visit Nathdwara in Rajasthan. This pilgrimage touched me to the core when I experienced the lived tradition of Lord Krishna as Shrinathji. Experiencing the early morning ritual of dressing up Shrinathji as also seeing the pichwai painting behind the icon of Shrinathji was a memorable day for me and I carried the magical back home.on returning l started painting these pichwai paintings . Thought the inspiration has been the traditional Nathdwara style l have my own interpretation of the paintings.
