ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The muse of mi life_Mirror Session vol. 2 At this point I was starting to use smartphones and “selfie concept” as a symbol related with contemporary urban style and narcissism behind social network. Smartphones and its screens are interesting objects. They also show you different points of one reality. Screens where they show you a pic inside your picture when you use a mirror. Related with the representative side of this artworks I wanted to make a spetial mention to the use of gold to remark the sides of the mirror with its tiny dripping in the upper side, that broke the limit between the painting and the photo-reference. Also around this period I started to redefined a logo to use to mark the clothes and apparel that the figures wear (as you can see it in the front side of the black shirt). This logo ended up being the starting point to create a collection of T-Shirt and Apparel: “Chaotic Clothes Vol. II” as you can see on previous posts.
