Enrique Pichardo's "signos" (signs), 160x100 cm in size and executed in acrylic on canvas, presents an intriguing mosaic of abstract figures on a deep black background. The figures, traced in white, stand out prominently against the dark background. In this canvas, the contrast between black and white creates a visually dynamic and striking composition. The abstract figures, arranged in a mosaic pattern, intertwine harmoniously, creating a sense of movement and rhythm throughout the work. The black background provides an ideal canvas for the white figures to stand out clearly and sharply. The carefully planned arrangement of the figures creates a sense of balance and cohesion in the overall composition. The use of acrylic on canvas allows Pichardo to explore texture and depth, adding another dimension of visual interest to the work. The combination of colors and shapes in the "Composition in aqua and black" evokes an enigmatic and captivating atmosphere, inviting the viewer to dive into its abstract world and explore its intricate details. In short, this work is a testament to Pichardo's creative talent, which skillfully combines visual elements to create a unique and captivating artistic experience.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
