Art Description

Painting: Watercolor, Pencil, Pastel, Charcoal, Silver foil on Paper.

This work is created with Watercolor, pigments and silver sheet on paper. For its realization, they have been applying fragments of silver leaf on the watercolor to increase the brightness, light and movement of the work, giving a great depth to the work and always preserving the freshness and spontaneity. As in life itself, the brushstrokes overlap and can not be erased, like our facts. I am touched by the fragility of the individual in contrast to the strength of the union. Like a simple fish, it acquires enormous strength when interacting with multiple individuals. How a simple everyday event can become a masterpiece at the end of our existence.
I was born on an island and grew up surrounded by the ocean. Hence, water and light are my main sources of inspiration.
