Sister Painting

Hazel Gomes was born in Goa in 1949,a self taught painter,she remembers painting from an early age. Hazel studied Commercial Art at Sir.JJ.School Of Applied Arts Bombay & graduated in 1971 & moved to london in 1973.Hazel did an advanced course in fashion studies at St.Martins School Of Art 73/74 Hazel has worked as an Illustrator for Vogue France ,Elle France,Sunday Times,advertising campaigns for Galleries La Fayatte & her work for the Dutch Company Peek & Clopenburg was exhibited at the Stedelijke Museum of Modern Art Amsterdam 1979,Over the years Hazel has travelled extensively designing jewellery & Textiles for YSL & Roberto Cavalli in Florence. Hazel has exhibited her paintings in Paris & London since 1980's & her recent exhibit was at Jonathan Ross Gallery London in 2012.
