Dr. Ritu Gupta is a self taught Indian artist, currently residing in Christchurch, New Zealand. As art was her passion since childhood, she use to get some professional training during her school & college holidays. She started her professional journey only since year 2018, when she made the decision to take art as a full time profession. The beauty of this universe amazes her, mesmerising beauty of nature is her biggest inspiration, often her mood and surrounding vibes also inspire her to express herself through her artworks. She wish her art can make the calming impact on people and they can feel relaxed looking at it. She believes art has the power to take you into another world where one can forget our worries and stress of life and feel calm and joy. She stronglyconsiders art as a therapy. Mostly she is attracted to the beauty of nature so usually she paints the elements of nature, such as trees, flowers, landscape etc. She prefer to experiment the various subjects and style and not string herself to a particular subject. She loves to explore and unveil the hidden possibilities within oneself. She works from her home and soon she will have her studio.
