Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Ink on Canvas.

As with most of my work, animals are uses as metaphors for the ways people relate to each other. In this piece, these relationships and communications are with parent child, as well as with others. Some are helping each other, some are more interested in the viewer, others are doing their own thing, oblivious to their surroundings. As well as communications and relationships, I am celebrating the beauty and complexity of nature. To do this I have decorated and embellished the plants and animals.

The paint is fairly thin in order to create much detail. The canvas is artist quality stretched on high quality traditional timber stretchers.

This painting requires no frame, the edges are painted and it's ready to hang with wires and D rings in place. It will be shipped in a professionally constructed timber crate.
