A meditative mood painting using colour and surface texture to evoke nature and its sublime mystery. An indirect response to the Coronavirus epidemic, when it was created. I see death not as final but as a change of form, just as the day dies into night and regenerates at dawn.

This painting is framed. Frame dimensions are 96 x 81cm. All my works are painted using quality acrylic paints and satin varnish finish. Please feel free to contact me with questions about this or any other work, or to arrange multi-buyer or returning customer discounts.

I have over 15 years experience of shipping artworks worldwide. Signed on the front and labelled on the back, my paintings are securely packaged and shipped through a reputable courier to ensure they reach you safely, ready to hang.

I have been a fine artist all my adult life, and have had an interesting and varied history of related employment, including helping to set up and run a successful Scottish Art Gallery and being a self employed picture framer, which I still practise. I choose to live in a quiet corner of the beautiful county of Dumfries and Galloway, at the heart of a much-loved coastal region, to be close to my main inspiration of rugged, undisturbed nature.
