It's time to make music I play with the colors The heart is happy ... and the soul sings! The photographic taking of special perspectives in nature has accompanied me since my youth. I only started painting in 2004. Too bad, because my school grades in this subject were always the best. But I didn't pay attention to that. The trigger for the turn to painting was then a taster course with a very talented painter, who taught me and the other participants in an outstanding way motivating and encouraging but also didactically explaining the techniques extraordinarily well, the basic steps of watercolor painting. But not only that! He also showed us how to properly stage his picture and prepare it ready for sale. I went home back in 2003 with the happy feeling of having found a new hobby. From that point on (2004), painting has not let go of me. In addition to my full-time job as a clerk in a company, I spent almost all my free time learning painting techniques and drawing. First, pictures were created from the learned technique. Later I developed my own procedures. I took a special photo motif as a basis and learned to create a new one with color and shape variants on the canvas. Currently, I usually give my brush arm the freedom to bring to the canvas what strives in my interior in terms of emotion and memory to the outside. This process can sometimes be very short, other times it takes months. I play with the colors as if they were notes for a song I write on canvas. Painting and drawing challenges me, gives me energy and inspires. Do something, move creatively. Tension in the process, new things arise. The arm is emotional, gestures spread. The color moves the mood in the picture. I'm surprised myself. I just conjured up? I start in chaos. I'm looking for peace out of it. Color is mixed with non-color, calms down by surfaces in monotony. Then again: new shapes and figures, again over-mainting. Long contemplation, search for new aspect. Nature is my role model in its freedom. It gives me strength primarily for health but also for creating new things. Sun, rain, clouds, light. Colors and shape of leaf, flower and fruit inspire me, let me look closely, see hidden, hidden. The motive! Photographed, stored in the head: paint sometime. Garden, clouds, the puddle, the smooth ironed lake, the gout waves at the sea, mountain massifs, leaf light and cloud play inspire me.
