About The Artwork
The highlights of this piece are the colour, the throat chakra symbol, and the mandalas. I imagined healing sound waves emanating from the symbol. This healing is for anyone and everyone in whatever form it is needed and received. The dominant colour, royal blue, is associated with the third eye chakra and opens the door to deep seeing. It is the colour of lapis lazuli, a crystal that awakens the third eye for deep seeing, feeling and knowing, our intuition. Upon closer look, you’ll see the lighter shades of blue and even some turquoise. It is all about reaching deep within the wisdom of the universe that is a part of us and expressing it in the most harmonious and loving ways. This colour always reminds me of the deep ocean and the songs of the ancient, wise whales and the friendly, playful dolphins and other deep-sea creatures who vibrate in higher, healing frequencies. The lotus flowers are to add to the symbolism as they are an ancient symbol of the wisdom of the divine. The crystals on this piece are: Blue tiger eye is believed to bring abundance but also insight into complicated situations and problems. Tridacna enhances the magnetic field of the human body and creates an aura of protection against negative energies. It calms one's mind, enhances wisdom and believed to promote good energy flow. How to care for this piece: All my work has multiple layers of varnish. If you are in a dusty environment you can wipe gently with a feather or microfiber duster. The stones can be wiped with acid-free wet wipes.
