ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this series I began to look at windows and handrails while walking in the city. The paintings draw forms out of the utilitarian architecture that is largely overlooked. Things that are clearly utilitarian and also elaborately decorated. Right now I am thinking about textures, color, and decoration. All three factors are necessary to create these paintings. Not illusionary texture but physical textures and materials that influence the process and final result.

Currently he is living and working in Philadelphia to establish and invest in a stronger network of contemporary fine arts in the beautiful city of Philadelphia.
