ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting, like its sister pieces, started it life as yellow. I wanted to create work inspired by the yellow of daffodils. However the painting took over as when I added pink and green it wasn't happy. I allowed the magical mystical creating of work to take over and embraced what it wanted. The circles I use in my work represent hugs and in this piece and it's sister pieces the use of gold leaf gives golden hugs to the viewer.
