ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is a part of a series on water and changing colours. I am taking on the impressionist idea of changing light, bringing it to a further level and from a contemporary perspective, one that encompasses the experience of abstract expressionism and gestural art. Some paint I used for this artwork is flourescent, therefore the lights of this painting are subject to change a lot according to the surrounding lights, making either the yellow nuances or the ochre ones stronger.
