Spring afternoon is an acrylic painting on canvas by Paolo Cervino dated 03/20/2019. The abstract content of the work represents a landscape of the soul that often reverberates with the sensations that the painter felt during the execution of the painting. The work belongs to the "pictorial rhapsodies", a series of abstract works in which the author interprets chromatic improvisations similarly to what is done in the musical sphere. The work is not stretched on the frame and will be sent in a tube. I believe that painting is mute poetry(in the words of Leonardo Da Vinci) , music for the eyes, caress and delight for the soul. My paintings do not dwell on a single subject but they are all inseparably linked by the same poetic. The central theme of my work is always life in its facets. Whether it's a landscape be it abstract or not, the focus of the work is always a reference to an emotional state, so the only real permanent theme in my work are the emotions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Paolo Cervino was born in Brindisi in 1974.
