This view looks back at the old town of Zug from the lake. It’s a lovely vantage point and one that i’ve used before in a wider composition. For this one, I wanted to focus in a bit more and get the detail of each spire.

The colours are inspired by the Spring colours of Switzerland... little alpine flowers, fruit trees and abundant greenery leading the eye away up the montainside.

This was the centrepiece for my first international solo exhibition held in Zug.

Jonathan is a professional artist and illustrator working with big colours and lots of detail. "I find new compositions through travelling and exploring, visiting popular places around the UK, Europe and beyond. I try to bring a fresh perspective and a bold palette of colour to the landmarks you already know... and perhaps introduce you to a few to new locations along the way."
