This shipwreck used to be next to the town of Marigot, St. Martin. The ship, El Maud, was grounded in 1999 during Hurricane Lenny and sat there until be removed in 2017. On a bright sunny day, the sun just lit up the golden highlights against a tranquil turquoise sea, perfect for a painting.
