About The Artwork
Stag is inspired by George Bellow's brilliant work "Stag at Sharkies". The motion of the fighters pressing one another in all out war became a metaphor in my own journey. Most of the battles we wage in life are internal; and the ring is our daily lives. And so, the boxers blend a little as the heads converge. This is not two boxers, but one fighting with himself.
