Martha completed a BA at The Museum School Of Fine Arts in Boston, USA before continuing her studies at St Martins, London. She has continued to paint and exhibit at various galleries, including a solo show at the Conningsby Gallery in Bloomsbury, London, and group shows at the Bohun Gallery in Henley. She is currently represented by Ad Lib Gallery in London. Her work has also been featured in Private Eye magazine. She has sold numerous pieces, and carries out commissions whilst pursuing a parallel career as an Art Finisher for prosthetics and animatronics in the Special Effects industry for film and television. She has also collaborated with contemporary artists such as Gillian Wearing, Fiona Banner and Raqib Shaw to help them realise their projects in 3D. She won an Emmy award for her contribution to the Walking With Dinosaurs series and has worked on many well known productions, including the Harry Potter series of films, Dr. Who, and Game Of Thrones to name a few, and has recently completed work on the new Jurassic World film, yet to be released. The passion and attention to detail required for her film and television work translates into her paintings. Her favourite medium is oil on canvas, combined with gold leaf.
