I use abstract impressionism to render the poesy and awe inspired by aerial views of our Planet, from satellite to drone images or from personal trips from high above. Our human perception of our Earth and Universe is deeply and fast changing as we become influenced by those amazing bird eye view points. I am asking the viewer to operate a scale shift as one journeys in the topographies of my canvas. A friend recently told me “In front of your works, I am standing in space and love the Planet”. To render the Earth and the elements, I combine acrylics, inks, powder pigments and earth oxides. Each canvas surface acquires a sonority and a poesy from which a mental state is formed and developed. My paintings are ready to hang and the thick canvas sides are painted as well. So it’s not necessary to frame my artworks. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included.
