ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original, one of a kind painting on a thick gallery wrapped canvas; hand painted by me in July 2014. This original painting is titled 'Starting Gate' and it features a bold and colorful composition of concentric circles, squares, rectangles and graphite scribbles and lines. The cheerful colors in this artwork include yellow, black, white, turquoise, orange, chartreuse and a little touch of red. I've neatly finished the edges of the thick canvas in black, so framing is not necessary. It will be finished with two coats of varnish for dust and UV protection. Hanging hardware is attached, and this painting is signed with my first name on the front, and fully signed, titled and dated on the reverse.
