Each year I go to the Royal Highland show held in Edinburgh which is one of scotlands most iconic events Watching the horse dressage inspired this work.loved painting this majestic boy .The execution of precise movements in response to barely seeable siganals from his rider "two became one"stunning to watch.It was important for me to achieve a sense of movement of lateral steps moving into the negative space.At the moment I'm using alkled paint mix of oil and acrylic on ampersand board this painting is unframed.always enjoy painting almost photorealistic
