About The Artwork
Mongolian Altai is endless deserts. Here only silent stone idols, ancient idols look upon you. On each boulder depicted ancient fairytale beasts, they resemble bulls, wolves, horses. There are also archers here, shooting arrows at these animals, as if the hunt started in Scythian times is still going on. And when I meet the information on the menhirs of Western Europe, I immediately recall these ancient Steppe Gods of Mongolia. The amazing feeling of the similarities between ancient cultures and their mysteriousness inspire me to new works.
