I painted the composition of two chairs, a ball, and some fabrics.
I tried to see the composition as forms of colors and at the sαme time to create, as my instinct suggests, new more expressive forms. I have transmuted the gentle colors, that the composition had, to intense primary colors for a more lively effect. It has been made from three primary acrylic colors: blue, yellow and red, and also white.
I have been affected by digital media, pop art, cubism, and abstract art.
I hope you enjoy it!!

Maria Chatzaki was born and lives in Greece. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, AUTh. She is concerned with the "here and now" of the work, as well as the "here and now" of life. She is not "afraid of" notions like sensations, emotion, sensibility, aesthetics, empathy. Words that in the Greek language have the same root. She also doubts that they are notions that conflict with intellect and logic. She believes that they are equally important to explore. She admires artists like P. Klee, M. Rothko, S. Delaunay-Terk, Agnes Martin. She also loves poetry, theater, music, other art forms and philosophy. 1) Benjamin W. (2008) The work of art in the age of technological reproducibility, 2) Rothko M.
