About The Artwork

"Still life on the eve of war." January 16th 1991. I painted this watching CNN the night before the Gulf War started. It started as a simple still life, but became darker as the news reported war was unavoidable and beginning. We did not know the war would be so easily won at the time and we were afraid. Oil on canvas board. Unframed. This has been removed from sale, the canvas board has warped. The work may be salvageable, please contact me if interested.
