Velimir Pankratov's artistic work is diverse in both style and subject matter. These are figurative images, abstractions, landscapes and portraits. These different directions pose different tasks: in the figurative field, the musicality of forms and possibilities is explored, in portraits - the primordial essence of a person's character, in abstract works, rhythm is more important, the subtle relationship of spots with each other. Velimir Pankratov's works emphasize the diversity of technical techniques, both pictorial and graphic: the play of lines, spots, bright, eye-catching accents and smoothly flowing fills. Velemir Pankratov was born in 1968 in Russia. From an early age, he could already draw in the studio of his father, also an artist. Success in this endeavor prompted him to continue his studies at a specialized school of fine arts in Moscow, and then at the Higher School of Arts in the same city. At the moment, he has been living and working in Germany for over 20 years. During his creative path, Velemir Pankratov has made a complex evolution through many styles, from realism through cubism, to abstraction, expressionism and spiritual objectivism. It is very important for his work that the viewer also becomes a co-creator, a participant in what is happening. Therefore, for example, the planes in abstract works are organized in such a way that they invite everyone to see something that is close and interesting to them. These are not planes, but rather different spaces where you can enter and stay there. Only by entering something with your soul and penetrating inside, can you discover something mysterious, unknown. The artist exhibited his works in Russia, Italy, Germany, England and took part in many important art fairs. Velemir Pankratov's works are kept in many private collections.
