Still life ( Teapot, Gas eye and Jar ) Painting

Painting items were in a rural area outside Alexandria, with locals inviting visitors to have a cup of tea, boiled tea is usually stronger in color and flavor, with hint of burner smoke. Painting shows mostly warm inviting colors that emphasize welcoming atmosphere, blue teapot is more of a focal point that grabs attention to its role. Painted in oil on canvas about 1962 by my late mother, to capture the moment of this visit, it is one of the precious gifts she left us, her name is Afaf El Mahdy, and she is Abd El-Hady El-Gazzar's niece.
