BIO My name is Regina Utalieva, I was born in the south of Russia. I have been drawing since 2014. I graduated from the evening courses 'Drawing, painting, composition' at the art School No. 1 in Astrakhan in 2015. There I learned the technique of working with watercolour, and pencil. I continued my studies at the art studio 'Vincent' from 2019 to 2021. I live in 2 cities: Sevastopol (Crimea) and Astrakhan. Artist statement I really like to draw, so I get a distraction from what is happening in the environment, this is my way out into another reality. Drawing is a vital process for me. It pleases me, and teaches me to see, to notice the world in a different way. I paint still lifes, portraits and landscapes and add some other shades and textures to my works since I am not interested in full copying. I put all my skills into the work. With my works, I want to tell the world - whatever happens, do what inspires you, and inspire, spend your rays on other planets so that they do not go out. Direct the flow in a creative direction. I am inspired by the routine of life and its happy really bright moments. As well as paintings by Monet, Mung, Van Gogh, Kuindzhi, Yana Tark, Marat Morik and performances by artists, architects, musicians, photographers and screenwriters. I use watercolour, acrylic, tempera and oil. I am glad to see you here. I appreciate everyone.
