Stop! Painting

Nadia Safronova’s artistic path has a multidisciplinary approach. It has been always connected to Art and its various forms of expression. She was born in Russia and got her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at MARCHI, the university that has notorious past of russian avangard movement. It gave her a strong foundation of academic painting and a will to connect her life with art. Then she got her Master's degree from Polythecnic University of Milan, the city where she lives until now. Along her architect career she always kept painting and she has been regularly commissioned as a Freelance Illustrator. Her creative approach is based on the notion of unpredictibility of the process of painting. That explains the choice of technique- watercolor, ink. It is always a continous play between controlling and letting go. For her it is very valuable keeping painting transparent, showing the flow of live in color mixes.
