This piece was inspired by the stark contrast of, essentially, an apple. Using abstract techniques the apple is split into two - where it transcends on different paths. One is light, full of hope, and growth whereas the other is a more dark, real, and less lively. The ultimate demise of the apple is inevitable, but the brightness and cheerfulness of the other half is the small glimmer of hope we all hang on to in life. I hope those who admire this piece choose to venture in life with light and hope.
