ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a study I did for a larger painting, Tendresse (now sold). Typical of my work it is based on a piece of neo-classical sculpture, The Kiss by Rodin. Some people can tell immediately what it is and others can't... the poor framer panicked that he had put the string on upside down as he couldn't work the painting out! The price and dimensions include a professional, ornate frame.
