Work with frame: 61.5X46 cms The wood frame has little scratches from the recent exhibition; I conserve it because of the "vibes" of that great exhibition into the "Olga Costa museum". I post images of the frame. If you deserve it I can send you without the frame. Work without frame: 30.5x37cms The creative process of René Serrano starts with the omnipresent ingredient of the music. Audiophile and vinyl lover; René understand his painting process as a sound-landscape that write in every layer of color in the painting. The Vinyl record as a muse; Serrano understands the process to play a Vinyl record in the turntable as a ritual. The process of listening to the music in high resolution seems an investment of time in these days of “fast food” services. Subjects like the ocean, the beach life, the summer, or life on the coast are constant. René creates abstract paintings and prints which highlight those wonders of daily life that go unnoticed; the moments that shape our trajectories but are so minute, they are oftentimes overlooked. His works revolve around ideas about banal events, and he views daily life as an altar for meditation and fascination. This fascination translates to pure logical forms like a circle or a square and to simple brush strokes and lines. The harmonious compositions are a tribute to the passage of time in a person's life, a life that is shaped by interactions, occurrences, and encounters that color our realities and affects our decision making. René Serrano´s works have been exhibited individually and collectively in Mexico, Belgium, Arab Emirates, Ireland, and the USA. Along with his projects, he has taught and directed programs at several universities in Mexico.

Psychographic artist with Hypergraphia My research is about a passage of time in a person’s life that is often shaped by challenges, interactions and encounters. I explore the relationship between graffiti roots and fine art academy to represent the music as a measure of time. The incorporation of my psychographic calligraphy describes secret poems in every canvas.
