ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Tokyo cityscape. My subject is the constructed human environment. I am interested in how collective and individual desires influence the form of mass produced environments and structures. I attempt to uncover patterns in the built world that reveal the human context. My practice uses observation and drawing, to develop a personal way of seeing, understanding, and ultimately a reconfiguration of complex environments.
