About The Artwork
I painted Summoning the Storm during a very turbulent period in my life where I needed to draw on some courage deep within and make some drastic changes. Some things had landed on my plate unexpectedly that were almost unbearable news as a parent. Some of my own deep seated trauma had to be re-visited and re-processed. Summoning the Storm is about pulling out the big guns within one's self to do battle in a mind messing situation.
