ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When the golfers retire after the day’s game, this place near my home offers a neat walk to watch brilliant sunsets every summer night. The striking colours of the sunset continue to pleasantly engage me and brings back memories of a nice but not too warm summer night. I used to paint in acrylic and still do sometimes but oils suits my painting style when it comes to painting skies. The colours when painting gives me an excitement that lasts for days and I look forward to the next colourful sky I could paint.

I am inspired by the natural landscapes around me which I portray mainly using bold colours. I like to work with oils and acrylic paints on medium to large size canvases. With a bachelors degree in Engineering, I also completed a Masters degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School( Warwick University). Drawing and painting was a childhood activity that I carried into adulthood, mainly self-taught except in secondary school where a dedicated teacher would run a rather interesting art class. England is home to outstanding landscapes and I am constantly inspired by colorful sunsets and breathtaking scenes of nature.
