About The Artwork
The work was inspired by childhood memories, when my parents and I waited for the sunset on the seashore after a hike in early spring. The work uses oil paints on linen canvas in the realism of classical painting according to the painting techniques of the old masters, which I learned at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.
