ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Sunshine on a Cloudy Day" It is a component of optimism and warmth that this huge and hot star casts on the world, while the red lines are a safety valve protecting against UV rays, a symbol of the ozonosphere. The large circles suggest the core and encircle the celestial bodies, the smaller circles to the cloud, which introduce movement and perspective in the painting, and at the same time cast a soothing shadow.

Tymon Adamczak was born in 1980 in Wałbrzych. From an early age he was interested in art and experimented with various techniques, such as drawing with pastels, charcoal, and pencil. With time, he became interested in oil and acrylic painting, as well as sculpture in wood and poplar bark. At that time, he organized several exhibitions in community centers, e.g. in Głogów, and several open-air exhibitions in the Gostyński community center. One day, the artist discovered airbrush painting and became interested in this technique. For about 10 years he dealt with decorating custom motorcycles, choppers, trikes, cars and painting on walls and specially prepared sheets of metal. Then he decided to learn a new tattoo technique and ran a tattoo studio for the next 10 years, gaining new experience and skills. After working with the tattoo for a long time, the artist decided to return to painting and sculpture, which gave him more freedom of expression. Thanks to this experience with various techniques, he had the opportunity to develop various skills that gave him a lot of creative joy. The variety of techniques and styles with which he worked resulted in ease of work and freedom of self-expression. The search led him to absolutely individual painting works in an abstract, geometric style. Contemporary art is where it is now and will be for some time.
